I'm not around to post on here tomorrow, so to all my American friends on the TF forum enjoy your Independence Day celebrations and I hope you all have a great day! (I bet there will be more than a few reenactment groups in action)!! :)

I hope one day in the future to be in the States on the 4th July to experience the occasion!

Best wishes
Tom

Me too.A very Happy Independence day to all our USA members for tommorow from the old enemy;).Hope you all have a great day !

Best wishes to all of you and your families for a fantastic celebration:)

Yes indeed, have a great day especially to my American friends I have had the fortune to meet through this forum, but please remember you passed up the opportunity to play Test Match cricket!. I'm getting together with a couple of friends and refighting Cowpens in 54mm using K&C, Britains and ATKM. Figure scale will be on the high side but we'll have fun and it' an excuse to knock back a beer or three.

Thanks gentlemen! We will all be outside enjoying the nice weather, having cookouts and watching fireworks . . .:)

Happy Independence Day to my fellow Countrymen!:) Let the hot dog grilling begin!:D;)

USA!!!

Wishing all you Yanks a good day. Your friendship here on the forum is a pleasure. There will be so many cookouts going on that we'll probably smell them north of the border.

Enjoy.

Yo Troopers, from the Big Country OK so your celebrating that you threw us out, somebody mentioned you never learned how to play cricket OK, but you never learned how to make a decent cup of tea either or do a good fish and chips with mushy peas. I can forgive and forget that, but what most of you wont know going back to the Confederations Cup and the great performance the USA put in (nice one Brad) watched it in Spain which I wont mention only to say Spain wont see me again:mad: Is That in 1950 the USA beat the Mighty England football team 1-0 in the World Cup in Brazil, sorry guys not forgetting that one, some things you just cannot forgive:( It was so:eek:.
have a good day Guys.
Bernard.

Thank you to all our frriends in other lands.Getting to see your words and opinions about all things in life makes me feel closer to people all over the world.

Happy 4th July to all US members of the forum.
Strange that King and Country sent me a email card Celebrating Independance Day. Surely from our (I mean the British) point of view it should be called "Bad Rebellion Day" !!!
and lets not get into the War of 1812 !!!!!!!!!!!!
All the best,
Brett

A few photos from one of our local parades. The 2-3 weeks of rain actually cleared last evening but fire works were canceled because of Fog. (We're on the seacoast.)

Happy Americans!

Let us be mindful today of all of our different countries' troops still in harms way. Let us be mindful of the independence days of all the different countries that we represent. Michael

Well Rob, it's definitely beautiful here in Arizona, but the monsoon season is here with humidity and 100 + temps!!!! but I do wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July...Sammy

Once again this year my reenacting unit was asked to help out with the fireworks demonstration at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford Va. We arrived with a 3" Ordnance Rifle and added a few insignificant sparkles to an excellent fireworks display. We got a chance to visit the memorial after it closed and before the fireworks got started.
