I picked up Aeroart's Honda Kadakatsu from AeroArt on Saturday for my friend Harvey Hammer (hrhammer on the Forum). I dropped it off today and took a few photos of his collection.

Looks great!!!
Toy soldiers and books just go together!!!

I was over at Harvey's house on Monday (for a book club meeting) and I took some pictures of his collection. Harvey reorganized his shelves so these photos show the new additions as well as his older figures.

How many do you think he has?Beautiful collection!I think Samurai are the most photogenic of all figures and know they look better in person.
Mark

I’m not sure. Guessing 40 or so. His grandchildren are visiting this weekend so maybe he will post the answer next week.

Thanks for posting these photos Brad. Oh my, Harvey has an extensive collection of beautiful Samurai...some really breathtaking figures!

Thanks Mark and Joe. Whenever I get a notice from Aeroart about a new Samurai, I forward it to him. However, he talks to Nicki regularly so he knows what’s coming down the pike.

He has some brilliant Nevskaya pieces in his collection too...such lovely art.

Gorgeous figures! I’ve never studied the samurai, but I also collect them as I think they are some of the most beautiful figures made. The armor is amazing and the Japanese patterns on their textiles makes for remarkable figures when they’re well painted.

Lots of Russian & (I think) other figures that aren't often seen or copied; a truly unique collection. Love it!

I visited Harvey recently and took some pictures of his collection. He rearranged his figures so I'm not sure which one is new.

Wonderful collection on a era that is not often shown. Greg.
