With some of King&Country's newest offerings I think they are doing an Excellent job in offering Repaints and Variants at the factory level. Given examples such as the
Russian T-34 from months back done in 3 Soviet versions with a German captured version, the new 222 series armored car done in grey and already done in a winter
version with detailed weathering, and the newest grey Tiger which expands upon the previous versions of the Tiger already done.
The collector can have the various assortment of vehicles done in different paint schemes, but at the factory level straight out of the box !!!!
Now the collector doesn't have to hassle with acquiring an extra vehicle to send off somewhere to deal with the perils of shipping to and from one location
to another and the added cost of shipping and labor involved in the whole process. Plus the added benefit of getting that grey, winter, or desert version
fresh out of the box as the "factory" had intended. There are those who would argue about specific unit markings,etc.....but all in all I think Andy is doing a
fine job offering all of the different versions as we have seen in the most recent dispatches. All the better for the mint out the box purists :wink2:
Another reason why K&C gets my collecting dollar.
