Ana had an assembled but unpainted Panther on her shelves. This is a perfect opportunity to get a tank to customize to your specifications! I know there are people on the forum who would be willing to paint it for you!

Trust me guys, for those of you that haven’t experienced an Honour Bound tank this is your chance. A few years ago this Panther launch a paradigm shift in the 1/30 market that is still felt today.

IMO, King and Country modified subsequent releases of armor to reflect the immediate upgraded tastes and expectations of collectors. Competition is good and this is the ship (tank) that launched an epiphany.

This Panther being auctioned is a great opportunity or “open canvass” for a custom paint job for any of you who are so talented or can commissioned someone whom is.

This is the most interesting of the Panthers you have on Ebay. I will watch this one closely.

Well I was the lucky one to get this unpainted Panther. I plan on upgrading some of the details and painting it for my photo shoots. I suppose the biggest decision will be picking a specific tank and unit, but I think I have one in mind already.
As there is no crew I will probably sculpt a couple of guys for it too while I am at it. Once in a while I have to do something for myself and this one should be fun!

I was wondering who got it. Congratulations Ken. Looking forward to seeing the completed project. Glad it's gone to a good home.

Looking forward to seeing it. You should treat yourself once in a while.

Ericka and I are just back home after spending four days in NY state at a War of 1812 event. I put in my bid before we left and never thought I would win it so I am a pretty happy guy. I am a bit surprised that the other vehicles listed did not all sell with the first listing. This one is the jewel in the crown of the lot though, as I can finish it to my specs.

Last night I spent some time going through various books here trying to decide which one to do. Although the model will narrow things a bit as far as variant and Zimmerett style, it will still be a tough choice. There are some great images of these vehicles in service on the Eastern front, but I will probably end up representing one that was deployed in the West. I did start a couple of crewman though and I will certainly post some images when I get the vehicle here and the figures are far enough along.

I had purchased a Panther G from another maker but I feel that it is not what I had hoped it to be so that project will have to wait. After considering what I would replace or improve on the model, it would be more logical to wait for another manufacturer to visit the subject or even build one for myself.

All the Best!
Ken
