Heco Tinplate Models (1 Viewer)

Attached are some photos of the Heco Outhouse, Crates and Barrells I purchased recently, as well as a photo of a new, slightly different Heco Aircraft Recovery Lorry I traded Tom Dubel one of my Heco Aircraft Recovery Lorries for (it is carrying a captured German plane with a skull and crossbones on its tailplane, Tom loves anything with these markings - don't worry Tom, yours is in the box and on its way).:wink2:

Interesting . . . I have a similar recovery lorry, but with a different aircraft . . . silver, no wings.

I got an e-mail today from good friend Clive Gande, the seller dropped off my Heco Tinplate Mobile Radar on Underslung Chassis, and the wheels to be attached to the rear of my Mark I British Tank, he shipped them to me, and I should have them by the end of the week.:smile2: Photos to follow upon receipt.:wink2:

The box from Clive arrived safely (thanks Clive!:smile2:) with the wheels to be pulled behind the Heco British Mark I tank Clive obtained for me last year, as well as the Heco German Mobile Radar Installation I purchased from the same seller at the June London Show. Here are a couple of photos of the Mark I Tank with the wheels attached:

Now for the German Mobile Radar Installation, which I have displayed helping to warn my Heco Peenemunde V1 and V2 dioramas of impending Allied Air Attack, as well as a couple of Heco Tiger Tanks for defense from commando attacks:

Louis,

It seems like you're loading photos directly from the iPhone. They come out lopsided, even if you forward them to your computer. What you need to get is a program, which is in the App Store, called Simple Resize. That will fix your problem.

Dear Brad,

I have the app, but I am not sure when to use it. The photos look fine on my phone and in my computer, both of which display them right side up, but sometimes they upload onto this forum sideways or upside-down.

Louis,

Any time you upload iPhone photos to the Forum, you should use it or else they come out lopsided. Yes, they will look fine on the phone but then come out screwy when viewed through a computer.

Thanks for the info. I will use it all the time for now on.

I just won an ebay auction for a tinplate submarine from a seller I previously bought several Heco item from. I don't know if it is Heco, but if it isn't, it was done with similar skill. Photos will follow on receipt.

Louis, I don't believe I've ever commented on your wonderful collection. From your early KC to your HECO tinplate acquisitions. But that U-boat is quite unique. Good pick up.

The tinplate submarine arrived safely, here are some shots of it in situ:
