Sherman Tanks with infantry support cautiously approach another dangerous hedgerow.

Every hedgerow was a new battlefield.

The burning Sherman in the pic is a FOV Sherman which we "Destroyed" using paints, pigments and a hammer {eek3}. The terrain once again is a mixture of all kinds of materials. The smoke was actually an accident, it is the shadow from the trees on the backdrop caused by my lame photography. I desaturated the colors in this pic to give it a more realistic feel.

Very cool Firebat. i like that second photo a lot. Accident or not the smoke looks great coming from the damaged tank.

As the lead tank sits burning from a previous Panzerschreck hit......... the rest of the Platoon moves on......

With my accidental smoke still working out I softened it a bit with the computer. Now you can also see more detail in the wrecked Sherman. Wrecking vehicles is not easy and we are continuing to improve our skills. AK Interactive, a maker of weathering products is coming on board with BSP so now we can make our stuff more battle worn than ever. No shiny stuff here.

I think Figarti's American figures gave a very realistic appearence in this scene. Figarti Figures can have a certain ambiance. The Medic and wounded is actually a ONWTC set.

Alex, brilliant again, as all your work! The third picture is beyond realistic!

Gentlemen

Thank you for your kind words.

With the lead tank knocked out the 2nd in line makes a move through the hedgerow with infantry in support......

Thank you Joe & Guy .... It is special to be recognized by accomplished fellow dioramists ( I think I invented a new word:) ). Alex

Ooh that's gotta hurt, nice effects, quite dramatic, hard to achieve in a static still, well done, cheers, Robin.

It's those dastardly Collectors Showcase guys firing on the Figarti Sherman again, and they brought help !.

Very fine diorams and photography! Good research, too. Those Shermans are typical of the types that fought in Normandy.

All those photos are just excellent. Thanks for putting in the effort, I really enjoyed looking at them all. They really give a sense of what the actual fighting would've been like!
