Hey guys, i had a second shock and awe when i went to the figarti room to pick up my k5 railway gun. When waiting for them to pack up my k5 i was walking around the new landing craft when i saw it. A beautiful heinkel 219 nightfighter. It was a beauty. Rick was wondering if it would sell and that he would try to keep it under $300. My god , for that price i think it would have to be a must have for any air war collector. I was hoping somebody might have some pictures of it to post. Maybe brad or warbuff or carlos. To help rick to decide whether to produce it or not, i am hoping for people to let him know that it would be a great addition.

So that was what was going on behind the closed doors on Friday night.
Congratulations on the purchase.

I'm sure a He 219 NF would sell very well under $300, I hope Rick brings it into production :D

I saw it on Saturday morning when I came to say goodbye to Rick. It's quite impressive. I believe it's going to be made for around that $300 price. Sorry, I didn't take a photo.

I so want the K5 - but the freight costs and import duty (it's over the $1,000 customs limit) has stopped me - so far

the figures are just fine. it is hell trying to remember where they all go. i am thinking of getting a couple of other figarti figures from the v2 rocket series. the figure pointing up, or some kc figures like the speer set. as for the k5, 28 have been sold and there are only seven left in china so act fast

Hey by the way, thank you clive and george for helping me make my k5 a reality

The 219 must be a monster in size, grey and black camo??
Ray
I would also commit to one.
PS I emailed K&C when the wooden warbird 110's were being produced saying I would commit to a Nachtjager version, sadly K&C had no plans to produce one.

Yes, they are a decent size, I have a 1/72 diecast version made by Ixo. It's a similar size to my Corgi B-25 Mitchell bomber.

The Figarti one is the spitting image of Oz's photo.

It's an attractive color scheme that one. I took a quick shot of my actual He 219 with my Corgi B-25 (based on the a/c from the Movie Catch-22) to show their relative size. As you can see the B-25 is more husky, but not much bigger.

I do like my Figarti Storks. I'll needs some Owl's to. Hope there will be some camo options.

Rick was really hopeful he could produce this plane, but after further consultation with his staff, he told us that it was unlikely. He said he would look into it further, but for him to produce and ship it, he has to reevaluate the price point.:(
