Heinrich,

I think you have done a fantastic job on all of your figures. But the lastest one on horseback is my favourite. Great stuff and thanks for sharing them.

Scott

They look fantastic, well done!

What kind of paint are you using? The Matty/seudey black on the horse looks awesome!

Nice painting on your figures. I enjoy the mounted crusader. Leadmen

. and it goes on!

Nicely done! I think your technique is improving from one figure to the next.

Prost!
Brad

I just found this thread.

You seem to get better on each one. They are very nice.

I especially like the old gent with the beard.

Help!

What can i use for cleaning figure before putting the parts together and painting?

Just hot water with some soap?

After using a primer, won´t it be best to paint the single parts before glue?

Thans for any advice!:)

TE Baron hasit spot on for the cleaning part. In regards to the pieces before assembly. I just watched John Jenkins with fully assembled sculpts painting for several hours the other day. Most of the plastic figures I paint are fully assembled as well. Even as a kid I glued then painted. So IMHO do what works for you. However, a completed figure is easier to hold.;)

Wash - dry - paint - glue and then paint again. But you a quite right, it´s easier to hold a complete figure, but the details are often more difficult to paint on a complete figure.

Sounds like a plan to me. Some figures are more chalenging than others. A lot of mine present very little challenges. John uses the tops of spray cans and a tacky wax type adhesive to hold the figures.

My beloved friends!

Four new figures coming up! Hope to make some pics 2morrow! In fact - 5 figures -I have changed the Saracen with the lionhead on a pole. Now it´s a head/helmet!

Some of the old figures have been drybrushed - like it!! :D Hope you do too!
