I have never seen snow so struggle with winter dioramas, now I don't want a permanent display so no powders, sprinkles etc but does this mat look ok?
Was thinking with a uneven underneath maybe some fake snow sprinkled on top what are you lucky people who have seen snow recommend thank you.

To me the mat does look ok, it goes well with figures and vehicles. Yet the overall look can always be improved. Snow has got a scale as well so you might want to look at some Model railroad pages. They do work wonders there. I remember a Winter scene that was made of cotton wool as a main material. Snow Powers work but you need a lot of it and some are simply not white enough or have a wrong „grain size“.

Looks good Wayne, especially since you've never seen snow in person.

The only comment I have to offer is something I do with my snow scenes and that is to add some trailing foot prints or tire tracks for an added realism effect. But sometimes a pre-made mat isn't pliable enough to accomplish that. It is easier to do with snow powder though.

Thank you gents for bothering to comment and all taken on board.
