The British used them in Normandy with the turret removed for rec workAs mentioned, it's an M3 light tank. These tanks were used by the US Army early in the Pacific (including the fall of the Phillipines), by the USMC on Guadalcanal, by the Austrailians in New Guniea, by the British in North Africa and by the US Army in North Africa as well as by training units in the USA. Add captured US M3s used by the Japanese and by the Africa Korps and you have quite a few choices in painting and marking this tank.
