.........................................................

I figure the front half is Italian.......the back half doesn't really matter.

Myself I'm 1/2 Italian, 1/4 German, and 1/4 Irish so you can just imagine the

even disposition, lack of temper, and all around happy-go-lucky attitude I

don't possess!

What do you mean there is three people in line ahead of me at the post

office!

I don't think I've ever heard of "poll dancing" . . . it would probably qualify for a poll tax, though.

(And how come "poll" doesn't rhyme with "doll"?!?)

:D:D:D:D:D:D
Now, that is a clever and simultaneously funny post; in my humble opinion.

Cheers:)

You deserve a icey poll for that comment

Its a difficult one though. On the one hand (with the greatest respect to Scott)there has been too many Polls recently and i can understand why it annoys folk.On the other hand when they are not done to saturation point they are quite enjoyable and just a bit of fun really.Maybe as Terry suggested the other day there should be an area for Polls like there is for suggestions. What i do think is funny is when people get upset that Andy doesn't look at these polls and think 'Right,i'll make that right away'!!.Its as if they think he is just sitting there waiting for the next Poll!!:D

One of the annoyances is the poll thread showing there is a new post when someone only casts a vote but doesn't post a comment. If there was a way to reset the thread to show a new post only when there is an actual post and not just a vote, that would be an improvement.

The other suggestion is that we grade Scott's polls and have them count toward his "A" levels. We could send them in to the Headmaster of his school. Of course Scott would have to define the poll, create a clear statement of purpose of the poll, set a deadline for poll submissions, and then by a second deadline, present a written analysis of the poll's results, comment on it's effectiveness, and suggest followup research.:D

I'd be happy to help you with the analysis :D:D:D

Excellent point PW, I agree that would be a technical improvement on the Treefrog Forum. I have mixed feelings about polls, it just depends on whats being asked and how well the choices are presented. If done well I'll participate if I think they aren't done well or I'm not interested in the topic I'll skip it.

Cheers
