How come when I order figures from one dealer they are all in excellent condition and when I order from another dealer they are always broken???? Any thoughts?

I only ever order from K&C UK or Treefrog and have never had a single thing broken or missing, wonderful service from both.I don't suppose you can tell us the suppliers from which stuff has arrived to you broken?.

I think you should only order from the first dealer!

I would rather not...but I can tell you there is an obvious problem...I have ordered hundreds from one dealer with NONE broken and another dealer with several broken and have only ordered a fraction from this dealer, if someone takes this the wrong way I am sorry...I have ordered from several dealers so it may not involve you...some times it doesn't pay to get a deal. As for me I will be sticking to my original dealer from now...customer service is VERY important when it comes to those who represent K&C or anyother toy soldier company for that matter. I don't like buying seconds..thank-you.

I have never understood people who are in business who take advantage of a customer once or twice killing all possibilites of future business just for a few bucks.

Peace of mind is very very important to me as a collector. When i layout considerable amounts of money on my hobby i want it to arrive in excellant condition and thats why i am so pleased with the two suppliers i use,it keeps me a loyal customer.:)

I have ordered from quite a few different dealers over the years, and have had sets arrive broken from all of them and from many different manufacturers. Some of the damaged figures looked to me that they left the factory in that condition. Others just didn't survive the delicate handling of the USPS & UPS. I once had the gun barrels on two US GI figures bend at a 90 degree angle. The box contained the whole series of K&C D Day GIs. Only two had the tips of the barrels bend exactly the same way. They're is no way they got like that in transit. I've had polystone vehicles with the tracks broken off. All of the dealers I received broken items from fixed the problem quickly. Or I just repaired the damage myself. My HB Sherman arrived with the small antenna mount on the back of the turret laying in the box. That one really irritated me.

With figures I suspect they were broken before they were packed because the K & C straws and foam system seems pretty idiot proof to me.

I've never received anything that was actually broken, but I used to order from a certain US-based dealer and on three consecutive occasions, items I had ordered and been charged for were missing. With another dealer, the wrong items were sent.
I, along with Rob, will only order non-K&C items now from Treefrog, certain items from K&C UK, and of course, buy K&C items personally at the K&C shop in Hong Kong. Customer service is excellent from all three I mention.
Well, unless you're Tony Neville of course......Hope you'r reading this Mr Forgetful......:D:D:D

We get broken stuff from Manufacturers all the time. Sometimes you would not believe the breaks and bends. Whole bunch of Del Prados arrived with lances bent all the same. Conte stuff has few breaks. Why? Look at the size of the box compared to the figures. The boxes are huge! Foam packaging is the best. Dealers do not always open and inspect every box. They can not if you want mint. Not to mention the time consideration. Reputable dealers will always take back damaged items.

Thats fine but my regular dealer checks the items before he ships..I think its the dealers responsibility to ensure the product he sends is in good condition prior to sending it and if its broken from the factory then it should be shipped back to the factory, not paun it off on the buyer, after a few transactions this becomes a little apparent and VERY frustrating.
