I made the original ten years ago, but the anniversary is this year.

Martin,

thanks for re-showing the article of that famous event and your brilliant sculpting.

I love seeing these multi figure sets of famous events, and like when makers continue to do similar releases, much like John Jenkins and his Battle of Leuthen series.

The use of a special purpose relief base adds to the scene, and again that adds to the display.

Well Done,

John

Martin...Happy Anniversary on this series...I'm sure they look fantastic as the day you introduced them...I own some of your Sudan War figures and they are pretty nice...

Martin,
I still have that 1st issue of Toy Soldier collector with the Heritage Scot's greys article.
I also still have about a dozen of those Heritage figures. A couple of them are dragoons which I believe you made as an alternative option to the Scots greys.

I really like them. They have a character of their own.
Did you make some red lancers around that time? I have a couple of red lancer which I bought at the same time as the Heritage greys and dragoons but I can't identify them.

I also liked the large British 27th (Inniskilling) infantry square being attacked by cuirassiers. I assume you did that as well.
Have you got some pictures of the square to share with us on Treefrog.
Are these still available? If so do you have some UK prices.

I would like to see a full list or catalogues of all these Heritage Napoleonics but it seems as though MM don't stock them and the website never seems up to date.

Thanks and regards
Paul

Sorry Mike, I didn't mean the anniversary of the set, although it is. I meant the anniversary year of capture of the eagle. My mistake I should have made myself more clear. Thanks anyway though I hadn't even realised what I'd said!:)

Paul, yes I remodeled the figures so that they could make a set of Corporal Styles of the Royal Dragoons with their captured eagle. (Now seen on the left arm of The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards/Royal Dragoons). I've also made more Scots Greys and Royal Dragoons in various charging poses. I don't believe the Duych Lancers are mine though, Ken will know who made them. They aren't GNM are they?

We are trying to get a Heritage website up but in the mean time if you (or anyone else) if having problems finding these things out, you can jusy contact me through here.

Yes the "Square of the 27th Inniskilling regiment of foot" is still available. All of the 153 figures are at least slightly different to each other. They stand on terained tiles of various sizes so that they make a two foot square. Of course all of the figures are also free standing. I know of one collector has his set up in a 2' x 3' 6" coffee table so that he can have a display withl charging cavalry.

Martin,
Consider establishing a store on EBay if that is easier than building a website.
