Been wanting to see if examples of Heritage Toy Soldiers are finally being shown on the Maison Militaire website - But the site seems to be down now for the last couple of days.

Any news on this? - Is Heritage carried by anyone else?

That's a good question, of which I don't have the answer. I've been waiting for some Sikh
Indian Infantry figures in fighting poses, firing, loading and some hand to hand.

To my knowledge there was never any information about Heritage figures on that website. I purchased a few figures by emailing MM. That vendor should consider an EBay store. I do not know of any shops in the USA that carry Heritage, which is disappointing.

Yes, the MM website had ''Coming Soon'' on their Heritage page - which gets pretty old after a year or so. :rolleyes2:
Now the web address for Maison Militaire brings up 'Page Not Found'. Was looking to add some of their figures to my Sudan collection..... Guess I'll get another round of JJD's instead.

I think I should jump in here, I'm sorry that the web site is down but Ken never has been a computer guy so he relies on someone else to run that side. The reason he never gets round to putting the Heritage figures on the site is that he doesn't want to list anything that isn't in stock. The reason that the Heritage figures aren't usually in stock is that as the person that makes them, I sculpt, make the moulds, cast them and paint them. We don't have a factory full of painters (I wish) So I make things in batches and they are usually gone as quick as they're made. If you e-mail Ken, or message me (quite a few people do) with what you want it can be sorted. If you just want to see pictures I've posted some on here. I hope that clears things up a bit.:)

I know that I have said this before, but frankly MM should consider selling within the context of an EBAY store.

Easier said than done, it's hard enough keeping up with orders as it is rather than making extras.:)

Thanks for the info. Martin, - Guess I'll stop waiting for the MM site to post the Heritage catalog w/images online. I understand what your saying, but it would be nice if MM could show examples on their site of all the figure possibilities, making it easier for collectors to know what can then be made to order.

I do so agree Ken. I'm not normally a buyer of "painted" figures - as I prefer painting my own - BUT - there are one or two absolutely FABULOUS Trophy figures that I WOULD like to own. One example is "The Pony Express" figure. I just love that particular figure - but how on earth could I send Ken an e-mail asking him to get out the mould and make me one???? (Incidentally - a casting would do - as I'd like to paint him myself).

Surely it would be better if someone could put up a list of what COULD be available somewhere ( might even be here?) - so that prospective purchasers could then KNOW what they could ask for.

Rocket Science - it ain't! jb

OK, thought I'd follow advice given on this thread and email Maison Militaire with my Heritage figure requests. After several days my message is bounced back......'Mailbox Full'. - What a way to run a business.

Would you message me with your order and I ring Ken!
