Highland Brigade on Parade (1 Viewer)

Most impressive Martyn, thanks for taking the time to set them up must have taken a bit.

What a nice way to spend the time setting up a photographing your sets and figures that you've shared with us. Should would have been fun helping you setting it up Martyn and as always thanks for sharing it all with us.....Joe

Very, very impressive Martyn!:cool::cool::cool::cool: I used to have a Gordon Highlanders Regimental Band with color party that is nearly identical to your Black Watch Regimental Band, and it was one of my favorite sets. I gave it to my good friend Hans Hedrich a couple of Christmases ago (over the years I gave Hans most of my Trophy collection - including some of the Indian Mutiny sets you gents were discussing on this thread). It is wonderful to see your collection, brings back memories of when I was single and could collect everything that struck my fancy. Now my display space is limited to 800 square feet (when I was single I had an entire floor of a Brownstone as my apartment, and every flat surface was covered with my toys) to I focus on K&C, Figarti and Heco.

HIGHLAND BRIGADE on PARADE

Hi Martyn,

Fantastic display....very impressive.

Are you going to keep these on permanent display ?

Thanks very much,

Raymond.:)

Well the only thing I can think of is Holy Cow!!!!!

That is a thing of total beauty! I really love the large massed formations that seem to only appear in catalogues of years gone by! Thanks for sharing them with us.

Thank you Louis, I wish I had plenty of display space, my sets have to be rotated every few months to let them be displayed, good fun though setting them up;)

Great collection...with magnitude! Thanks for sharing and please continue on. I have been enjoying the pictures...somewhat depressing that they are not mine but still very enjoyable!

Congrats Martyn! Another wonderful acquisition. Were these part of the same collection with the Boers? Truly inspiring to see them en masse:) By the way, aren't you supposed to open your gifts on Christmas Day:p Nevertheless, a very Merry Christmas to you!
All the best, Lawrence

Marytn,

I want to second Paulo's characterization of your collection. It is unbelievable!

Best regards,

Martyn: I had no idea those existed. You have "the collection". Have a great holiday.

Many thanks Tommy, I just wish I had the space to display it all such as you have with your great collection
