You are right, the variety of toy soldiers that Hiriart produces is amazing. I also agree that they do have a nice glossy finish.

This is set 1205 GRENADIER GUARDS & PIONEERS ordered by Randy who requested that Hiriart add the upper sleeve pioneer flash detail. You can see it the best in the third photo. This is the first time that I ever saw this set other than in a photo.

This special double set 1329 ESCUELA POLITECNICA de GUATEMALA plus 1 extra man was ordered by Mark. They are wearing light grey tunics; my version of this set has them in dark grey tunics. In addition, I have on the 2015 order, a third version with them wearing dark blue tunics.

Thanks Al, me too. A while back, I believe I mentioned elsewhere that I really had no interest in collecting Central and South American units until I saw Bob 's Hiriart sets. With this order, I now have units from Mexico, Guatemala, Columbia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil.
