Hi njja,

Thanks very much for the pic of AN10......much appreciated.

It looks a little smaller in size than the later Market Garden jeeps.

Finally after 7 years of looking i managed to find AN06 RECCE JEEP AND AN07 AMBULANCE JEEP just goes to show if you look hard enough you will find it (with a wee bit of luck)^&grin:salute::

Scott, I love K&C Glossy sets and each set gives me that Holy Grail feeling...maybe why I enjoy it so much!

Those are very nice sets Mario, some of my favorites. I was very lucky recently to buy my second WS 06 for a very inexpensive price, under original retail, if you can believe that.

Hello Mario
I know of 3 different summer camos ,1 winter ,but i dont know how many glossy ones
Brad,Louis or Larry are the pros
Regards Scott

I will defer to Larry and Louis but I don't recall WS 06 in gloss although WS 03 was made in gloss (in addition to matte). Scott is on the money otherwise.

Scott, thanks, that was a great catch: being in the right place at the right time.

Sager shows 4 different versions
Gloss, Camo euro, Grey Euro, Winter. I own the Camo euro.

There should be a glossy version (originally WSS3, later renumbered WS06), a matt gray, a matt camouflage, and a winter variant. There is also a Afrika Corps version (AK07, if I'm not mistaken). However, in the book we depict at least 6-8 variations on the matt camouflage and matt winter sets. Back then the painters just painted the figures as they saw fit, so there are a bunch of different variations on most early camouflage models.

Mario,
Congrats on finding the RAF sets :smile2:

Brad & Ed,

Here is a bad photo of some of the sidecar sets

The sidecars came in gloss and matte. Several different camo schemes of gloss were done. As for the matte, they came in winter, afrika korp, gray uniformed rider and european camo rider. Hope this helps. Happy Hunting!

Really interesting thread. Just as a matter of interest, what are these motorcycles worth at retail in today's markets? -- Al

I paid £350 for another LAH version not so long back

You never know what can pop up at the shows. I will say that there are quite few collectors hunting for that set. If you are willing to get it without a box and less than mint condition you will increase your chances.

That's for sure. When I was a K & C novice and had just met Louis, we met up at Valley Forge in 2006 and he found the WS 06 for me and a figure from WS 01 (matte), the figure with the binos.
