Raymond I will try to post a photo later when I dig out my other computer. It has all my information on it.
Here is a shot of the elusive little devil!
Lets hope more than a few of us get to add it to our collections!
Scott, I love K&C Glossy sets and each set gives me that Holy Grail feeling...maybe why I enjoy it so much! Finally after 7 years of looking i managed to find AN06 RECCE JEEP AND AN07 AMBULANCE JEEP just goes to show if you look hard enough you will find it (with a wee bit of luck)^&grin:salute::
Scott
Hi njja,
Thanks very much for the pic of AN10......much appreciated.
It looks a little smaller in size than the later Market Garden jeeps.
Raymond.
Those are very nice sets Mario, some of my favorites. I was very lucky recently to buy my second WS 06 for a very inexpensive price, under original retail, if you can believe that.
Guys, how many different species were ws006? Somebody help me please.
When production started?
mario
p.s.Brad thanks,but unfortunately for me expensive{sm3}:smile2:
Really interesting thread. Just as a matter of interest, what are these motorcycles worth at retail in today's markets? -- Al
Mario,
Congrats on finding the RAF sets :smile2:
Brad & Ed,
Here is a bad photo of some of the sidecar sets
The sidecars came in gloss and matte. Several different camo schemes of gloss were done. As for the matte, they came in winter, afrika korp, gray uniformed rider and european camo rider. Hope this helps. Happy Hunting!
You never know what can pop up at the shows. I will say that there are quite few collectors hunting for that set. If you are willing to get it without a box and less than mint condition you will increase your chances.
