Honour Bound Unweathered? (1 Viewer)

Thanks for the hyperlink. Cool website. I hope if I get to London that I can make a sidetrip and see the tank museum. If not, there's always the Imperial War Museum, where I can see a Jagpanther, a Cromwell, Monty's M3, and a Long Range Desert Group Chevy 30 CWT Truck recovered from the desert in Libya.

Regards,

Louis

Hi Louis.
It's an amazing place, seems like ages since my last visit and as I live in the South of England and Bovingdon is about 2-3 hours drive away, I would be more than willing to take you there (any excuse for a visit). A friend of my Fathers has a Dingo Scout Car (ala K&C) on show down there and the local beer isn't bad either.
Regards
Jeff

Dear Jeff,

That is an extremely kind offer, and I will be honored to take you up on it if I can convince my wife to go to London for the show.

Thank you very very much,

Louis

Louis,
Not at all, it would be a great experience. It's a must visit collection and not far away is Corfe Castle, so a good day out to be had for sure.
I can remember standing next to the King Tiger and trying to imagine what it must have been like facing one of these in a Sherman!!
There is a British Centurion which has been cut in half and you walk down the middle of it! that was some job I bet.
You must persuade your better half that you need this trip to further your education or something like that, the offer is there if you can make it.
Meanwhile
Best regards
Jeff
