In comparing notes with Konrad, we both have a question.

Was a certificate ever released with this set that would determine edition number?

Mine that I have was still wrapped in the outer white box and I have no certificate, so I am assuming there were none, but anyone else can post to confirm, that would be great!

Thanks

Hi Tom,

I will see if my set has a card. I do know that they were only 250 of them produced so they are really limited editions. I just cant remember if the box contained the card or if it was printed on the outside of the box. I will take a look and let you know.

All the best

Dave

Dave,
It's not printed on the box.
On the box it just says 41169 Christmas Scene 2005.
A little paper is included in the box to show how the figures are supposed to be positioned, that's it.

I know towards the end of RC2's ownership of Britains that the limited edition bands didn't bother printing an indirvidual number they just wrote how many there was produced! I think this one was made under the RC2 banner so they probably didn't bother.

Hi Tom,

I took a look in the box and there is only a form for the club and the diagram for the set up of the display. No numbers. Like I mentioned before they only made 250 so its a pretty small number no matter what.

For as long as it took to find this set, the only way I would part is for a King & Country Silk Road Elephant (Metal Mint in box!!) or the King & Country Les Miserables Set!!
