Hi All!
I have had several requests to see more images of our one of a kind diorama 'Hotel de Lille'. This was built to have different views from each direction so the eventual owner can move it from time to time to present very different looks.
Here is an end view with the hotel sign painted on the wall...

All of your work is visually stunning but this may be your best to date. Thanks for sharing your creativity, talent and time with us, it is most appreciated.

Hi All!
I have had a few requests to show the overall layout of the "Hotel de Lille" diorama. Here is a shot of it from overhead with a yard stick next to it for scale.

While I had it out of the box I thought I would snap a few other images of it for record.

These last two are some of my favorites for atmosphere.

I did not request these photos but am still enjoying them. The quality of the work is outstanding. The roof is beautiful and I like the detail of the wooden crates. The stone walls look so real. Thanks for posting Ken.

Ken,
That is straight up beautifully done, it stands alone without any toy soldiers or embelishment as a real work of art.

The new owner of Hotel de Lille commissioned a second diorama to double the size of the hotel section. It uses one of our new damaged Normandy barns and courtyard. This is designed to use either as a stand alone diorama or to be placed to the rear of the hotel to make one large display. The moldings used to finish the edges of both required a small scenic strip that can be used when the two are together. This bridges the two and with some loose material we will provide, will help disguise the gap.
Here are several images of the new section. Although it is similar to a diorama we built and sold at the Chicago OTSN show, it is unique in many ways.

A view from above showing the courtyard built into the end of the barn. Note the debris from the damaged wall.

The walls and woodpile at the end of the standard barn was removed and the end wall re stuccoed.

Your work never ceases to amaze me!^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool I only wish I could use your barn, but the one I bought has been claimed by my 5 year old son Alec as a garage for his (formerly my when I was a child) Corgis and Dinky's.^&grin

There is a foxhole of the far side of the hedgerow near the road. Note the roots exposed in the wall of the foxhole.

In this image you can just see the 'T' shaped scenic strip used to bridge the gap between the Hotel de Lille diorama and the new Farmyard diorama. It is a separate piece about 7/8" wide.

The time and patience that takes to make something like this just boggles my mind.Excellent as always.

Thank you for the compliments! We will be packing these up to ship out in the next few days so I will be doing a last minute check for any items that might come loose in transit. We have had very good luck to date, but I always try to head off any problems before packing.
Here is another view of the removable connecting strip. We will include a bag of our forest litter to scatter over the joint as a loose material that can be removed easily later.

This photo and the last one were photographed on my office floor with available room light, so my apologies on the poor quality. Ericka thought you might like to see the two dioramas put together.

I hope you enjoy looking at these.
