:D :D :D - Ron

Gentlemen and Ladies (not sure how many are are on the forum)

Here is where all those who would like to talk about KING AND COUNTRY in a free and open way may jump in. Say what you like - speak your mind - Yea or Nea on King and Country.

Now how should we get this going???

Oh, I know:

THERE IS ONLY KING AND COUNTRY - EVERYTHING ELSE IS JUST A TOY!

That should do it......... ..............:D :D

Well one thing i can say for sure (i think!)and that is about King and country figures. It is my opinion that Andys figures are are easily, easily, easily the best on the market by far.Now i'm not slagging off opposition(see other thread)but speaking for myself i have never seen such realism in figures. The faces and poses are so good you just can't help wanting them.I think Andys experience in the army has paid off big time,he knows how soldiers look and move in action.

I also think his vehicles are superb.I never really got involved in the tracks debate as i still thought the tanks were great. However i understand most of the people who had concerns now think Andy has caught up and is producing the goods. For me K&C are numero uno and i hope they keep up the good work.

Rob

I don't think any doubt that the figures are the best. This is an area in which the man has no competition and despite the lack of it has always striven to better the figures. The progression over the years is remarkable.

The vehicles are also very good now. Yes, I suppose HB and Figarti are a little better but not by much.

Brad,do you collect vehicles from different companys and if so which do you like most?.

Rob

Hey Ron,

Well my collection is so far entirely WW2 (but that will be changing soon with naps/charge)I have around forty sets of figures and about twenty five vehicles. These are spread between Dday/Bulge/Ak and Ea/WS.It is 99% K&C with the mortar set and one vehicle from NMA.Have just ordered HB's winter panther, saw it in London and it is very good had to have it.

How about you,is it just Naps and only k&C or do you have other stuff?.

Rob

My coleection is primarly K&C - although I do have Conte (Civil War & Am Revolution) and Britians (Civil War & Am Rev) as well.

King Country has simply take over my entire focus - although the new CW Britians look very good - that is why I am hoping Andy will jump in the game and do more CW. More the better.

My Collection is Civil War, Am Revolution, Romans, the new Crusaders and of course NAPOLEONICS - as you can tell I really like them. I have two very large curio cabinets and one med curio (like Louis') all in my living room - they look great. I have a new large curio coming this week as a birthday/valentines gift from my girl. Cant wait - that why I can get more !!!

Ron

Ron,I had also brought about five Britains ACW sets, but as you say i'm thinking Andys will be better. So it looks like i'll be adding another range to the ones i already collect.Enjoy your new cabinet!

Rob,

I only have the two Honeys from Figarti and the Panther from HB. I like the Honeys very much. A top quality product. The only reason I didn't buy their Tiger is because of the figures. If I could have their Tiger with no figures, I would have purchased it. The HB is nicely done. Great sculpting.

I also have the HB Field Kitchen, if that counts. Superb work of art.
