Doggone and Blast It.

I thought that I'd get finished this job here in France this morning and had planned on taking a quick hop over the channel to give everyone at the London Show a wallet beating at the bar.
Unfortunately its not to be, as the job went t**'s up this morning (nuthin' I can get blamed for, thank goodness) and I won't get finished here until Tuesday now.
Its a real shame, cos I was so looking forward to meeting so many people so much. Oh well - next year for sure.

Found it. Next Wednesday at 6 pm, he'll be at Toy Soldiers Paris. Don't know if you have to reserve ahead of time but you should be able to get the number from the K & C website.

Thanks for the info Brad but I have a date arranged for a couple of Hogmany beers with Andy and Bob in Hong Kong at the end of this month anyway.
I'm not sure if I can spin things out until Wednesday. I think I'll be driving up to Paris on Tuesday though, so we'll see how it pans out. One things for sure though, I won't be spending Tuesday night in the Sheraton Hotel at Charles De Gaulle airport. The one night I was there last week, including a meal, cost in the region of US$800 - and I'm not joking...!!! Thank goodness for expense accounts...... I have however found quite a good "Chinese" restaurant here in Provins - but their Peking Soup is nothing remotely similar to the real thing.

Eeeeermm, ummmm, Aye it was a-okay, but you have to consider that it was hot and managed to melt the 6-inch lump of frozen snot that was hanging off the end of my nose.
Its perishingly cold here in Northern France at this time of year. No wonder they had a truce at Christmas in 1914.
