After many months searching for a WS 070 winter tiger tank, I have found one at a reasonable price that doesn't cost me my left arm!!! this is by far my most favorite K&C set, and it will look awesome in my winter dio, I'm putting my Strictly limited certificate in a glass frame (as well as any others I may get) great thanks and appreciation goes out to Tommy one of our forum brothers who has been very helpful in questions, pictures, I'm glad to be one of the 999 tiger owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Sammy

Congratulations Sammy, its a wonderful model isn't it.Good to see such enthusiasm in a K&C collector, nothing like getting the item you have been after for ages:).

Congrats - Sammy ! :D

I am still looking for mine - the prices I get always make me wait.

What SL number did you get Sammy?.I'm 0724.:)

Rob

You know - I almost bought the one on Ebay with both crews for $750.00 - its just with this economy you have to think some more of these 88's will come available - hopefully. It was also bad timing cash flow wise :(

Its well worth getting Ron.Although it was released sometime back now it really stands up well to todays stuff.Excellent sculpting, very weighty and with a great in action crew this is K&C firing on all cylinders.IMHO the best 88mm on the Toy soldier market.:)

Rob

Congratulations Sammy!
It's a nice feeling to be able to pick up something you've ben hunting for, for a while. It's a great set, and I know you won't be dissappointed with it. I've got a ho-hum number 490/999. Pretty much middle of the road really.:D

I would love to have the gun and crew but would be happy to have the gun being towed by the primemover with the 6 soldiers riding in back, either way it's a glorious piece that one day hope to own...Sammy

The SL winter Tiger is my favorite piece. As long as I collect K&C this beauty will stay in my collection.

My SL number is 0096, next long lost project is WS 057, THE MIGHTY 88

Sammy words of advice on the 88.

I have owned 2, just recently sold the duplicate for 400.

You will find the crews will be harder to find for a good price IMO.

Also, the gun itself is very fragile, so ask a lot of question, as long as all parts are present, a surgical repair is quite easy as i experience no paint damage, always loose parts. It is an extremely heavy piece which is why it is so fragile.

Good luck on the quest.

Ah thats the choice, set up in action or being towed by the Prime mover?.Both scenarios look great in my view.I wonder if at some point we may get another prime mover.
