Great dio! The attention to detail makes it come alive. Neat little things like the smoke from the Panther crew's ciggie, and the ground work.

great job. about how many hours of fun went into creating this beautifully done diorama?

Fantastic Dio mate!!::eek::D Great pic's too. Really like how you've used the scenery and love that barn. Where did you get it?
Thanks for taking the time to post!:)

Well the barn is actually a birdhouse from Michael's, cost about 5 bucks. I bought a bags of their "funsticks", "matchsticks", and a bag of their squares and rectangles too. So the boards on the side of the barn are those and the shutters were made from the "squares and rectangles" from them. Michael's is a great place. The birdhouses make great forms to start with and you can do so much with them, they have barns, churches and other structures too that can be easily converted:D Check em out!

This dio took about 5 weeks of constant work to build. Sometimes I would spend hours on end and other days just a few minutes here and there, but you are so right Hawkeye, it is soooo much fun!!

Awesome diorama with a lot of action in a small space but well balanced and detailed. Looks like a lot of thought went into it.

I pulled a cotton ball apart and used just a few strands as the smoke. A smear of white glue on the ciggie and then the cotton strands were attached. The "smoke" actually moves in the breeze too, pretty neat!
