Terry, I'm not so sure, the foil on the bottle necks seem complete, of course it could be photoshopped or faked somehow. If it is a genuine photo that woman should be in the olympics {eek3}

Well, OzDig - I certainly didn't fake the pic. looks real to me. These were sent to me from a good friend of mine - a Polish Lady named Annya, by the way. She's a teacher in Polska, with a wicked sense of humour - as you can see. She assures me that they are genuine.

I didn't know that "Carrying the Crates" was in the Olympics! Might be a winter sport event though OzDig - as he has his brolly up ( and bravely carrying it himself, I see).^&cool

Over what distance/obstacles does she have to go? Is it a speed or endurance event? What's the weight carried ? Do you know - the answers? Do tell us more! jb . Looks like this one seems to be getting the nod - so far. jb

If it was in aussie then i think the pic would look more like the bloke lying on the ground knocked out with all the bottles lying around him!

How could I doubt a funny photo on the internet, especially as it has now been confirmed genuine by an Eastern Block source. As for the event, I was thinking more along the lines of Olympic Women's Weightlifting.

A friend married a Polish lady. Very smart and worked for Harvard University. We did compliment her on her physical strength when house moving. Theresa said she was "strong like husband of cow!"
