I just wanted to share some pics w/ everyone of Figarti's Panzer IV. I was lucky to acquire one of these. Initially, I was indecisive about whether to get one or not. Of course, they sold out quickly, and the hunt was on. I have bid on several of these on ebay, and I finally landed one. And what a beauty she is. This might be my favorite Figarti armor piece, and that's really saying a lot. Here are some pics:

I almost forgot this guy!! He came with the set as well:

I didn't photograph the side skirts, but they did come w/ the set too. I think the tank looks better w/out the skirting, because the skirting obstructs a lot of the detail that I like to marvel at. However, if I had two of these, I would probably display one w/ and and one w/out skirting. Uh oh, does this mean that the hunt is on for a second one?!!?!:p

Excellent photos showing the details. I'm tempted to take the skirts off and expose the track and wheel detail.

Congratulations on your purchase Joe, she's a real beauty isn't she, superb release from Figarti and glad I bagged one.

Great pics too Joe!

Nice one Joe, well worth waiting for. Thanks for sharing, cheers Alby

Many thanks for uploading the closeup photos. Have you by any chance seen the Collectors Showcase Panzer IV? I would be interested on your view as to how the two tanks compare. thnks

Thank you very much, Rob! She certainly is a beauty indeed! I'm glad you have one too....somewhere I think I had previously read that you had bagged one of the last two at one of the London shows? Is my memory serving me correctly? In any case, I think I have figured out which is better: the chase or the catch? I say the catch:p! Thanks again, Joe

Thank you again for the kind words, Alby. This is certainly one of my very favorite AFV's. It looks so real I wouldn't be suprised if it just drove off and destroyed some of my shelf dios!:p I had been after this one since I realized I made a mistake by not picking it up when I first had a chance. But like you said, it was well worth waiting for :). Joe

Joe,

Missed this one & will keep looking. Perhaps Figarti have a winter Panther or Tiger in the works … now that’s a baby I would pre order. Alby

Hello fab-two, You are very welcome for the photos. I'm just happy to be able to share my enjoyment with w/ everyone here. I don't have the CS Panzer IV, but it seems like more and more pics of it are popping up in the CS thread. From the pics it really appears to be a fine looking creation too. But I must apologize for not being able to provide any insight on that particular AFV. I do, however, have a CS Tiger and I took an overhead shot for you of it next to the the Figarti P-IV. I look forward to the day when Figarti makes a 1/30th scale Tiger:D. I hope this helps a little!:) Thanks again, Joe

Hey Joe,

You have a very good memory mate!. I did indeed get one of the last two remaining Tanks that Clive had at the first London show they were on sale, and James (Eazy) got the other one. One of Figarti's very best releases in my view.

Cheers

Hi Joe

Thanks for the extra photo.

Here in New Zealand we do not have any toy soldier shops like TF. All my purchases come from overseas so I can only make my choices based on pictures people have taken or comments on forums such as TF.

cheers

Hi Stephen, You are very welcome indeed. I really enjoy posting pics when I can find the time. I hope to someday create large scale dioramas and to photograph them for sharing here as many others do. I just need to find a way to "manufacture" the time necessary to do so. Whenever I get something new, I will be sure to shoot pics and post 'em here. It's great to know that others enjoy the pics too, and perhaps even use them as a shopping assistant as you mentioned. I hope that someday a toy soldier shop appears in New Zealand. But for now, I think you have found the next best thing! Thank again, Joe
