My wife did not know what to get me for a second Christmas gift so I suggested she could give me K&C's set# TRW 030 of the "Dead Horse" of a 7th U.S. Army trooper. She did not like the idea, but finally went along with it.

When I finally gave up in 2009 on waiting for K&C to add to their old "The West" (TW) series of sets that first came out in circa 1998 I revised my Custer's Last Stand to a smaller display area and figured that will be it. I was surprised to learn that K&C has added Custer's Last Stand sets to "The Real West" (TRW) series recently. I have no plans to expand my diorama to add any more 7th Cavalry Troopers or American Indian Warriors, but I could see where I could just add the "dead horse" set which I have placed in front of a kneeling trooper. Please see #3 photos below. "Iron Brigade" / Gary

OMG! I got a dead horse too!
The Britains' dead Napoleonic British dragoon horse from my mother. Along with more soldiers, I also got Napoleonic cologne, my favorite paisley cloths, and MP cuff-links. My father got me possibly the most pointless gift a teenager could ask for: a land-line-shaped phone which you plug into your iPhone. Sometimes it's very evident that your father is 62.

I want to thank the prior 5 posts to my new Thread for their comments, namely, "Spanish Soldier" of Spain; "Poppo" of Europe; "Napoleon1er" of USA; "Village Horse" of Australia & "PanzerAce1944" of USA.

Yes, absolutely!

"Poppo" and "Mitch":

In 2009 after waiting for about 4 years I gave up on K&C ever making additions to the "Custer's Last Stand" series of sets and I moved my The West (TW) sets to a smaller spaced diorama area. I do not plan on moving this diorama again. I am happy with what I have from the circa 1998 copy write era of The West series of productions and I am just going to go with the smaller sized diorama I moved to in mid-2009.

Based on the current K&C Collector magazine Andy has admitted he was wrong in not sticking with the Custer's Last Stand series of sets!
