You know, you are absolutely correct. The Flak 36 was 5.791 meters long. Now divide 579.1mm by 30 and the barrel should be 19.3mm in 1:30 scale. I measured the figure that goes with the model at 60mm (somewhat bent over holding a shell) and...you guessed it, the barrel is approximately 19 millimeters long. So, I would agree, this model is 1:30 scale. I also love it and have featured it in some of my pictures.

Indeed... One very nice set.
Thanks O.T.K

I have not seen this in the flesh...but I don't like the camo on the german uniforms...... looks too fake to pass mustard for me..... a re-paint would be absolutely required here IMO....Grey would be a good choice....but to each their own.

I have the sets that make up the models depicted in this diorama, as with most other tri colored Normandy sets from CS the green coloration is somewhat lighter and brighter than the correct color which is darker. However I agree with other members that have the sets that photos on the forum do tend to exagerate the brightness factor.

Ready willing and able to do repaints! PM me for info and details.{sm4}

I hate to sound like a broken record (or CD for you younger people) but Mike's work on repaints is second to none. If you have never seen his work on display at Sierra Toy Soldier in Los Gatos you are missing out. The guy is flat out talented. If you are going for a repaint on this I highly recommend KV!
