I have to Pass on WW1! (1 Viewer)

LOL! Have you thought about the days out Tony is organising in the run up to the xmas show/evening with Andy?.And will you be attending show/evening?

Rob

Hey Jeff

Still i'm really not complaining, better to have loads of choice than not much.2007 is i think going to be a great one for K&C,can only imagine how much bigger my collection will be at the end of the year!.

Rob

When you think we (collectors) shouldn't complain at all when K&C or anyone else to that matter, brings out loads of new releases for us to choose from. Better than not enough. I suspect that Andy must get a bit of a kick out of us poor so & so's having trouble deciding what we are going to get next.

Jeff

Sorry missed your post whilst I was doing the one above.
I will be going to the show, but I doubt the rest.

We really are spoiled for choice at the moement.Especially in vehicle producers(i understand HB are bringing out a Tiger!)The only figure set i have seen that i honestly think goes with my k&c is Nma's mortar set.But others are catching up fast, its a good time to be a collector!

I managed to get my pass stamped in advance for this. Trouble is she wants to come down too and do some of that...er...what's it called....dangerous past time....Shopping!, yep, that's the one.

And I think she's as dangerous as Chuck H's wife where it comes to shoes and handbags.

Looks like tripe for Xmas dinner this year.

 I'm Strictly a WW2 Die-Hard Collector, and we still can't get enough of WW2! So, I'm going to Pass on WW1! This way I could save and get more WW2 Sets, that I haven't had a chance to Buy, and to catch up, because Andy is Flying too fast, and going into different directions, of WW2 ERA's and Not Concentrating on what we Collector's want; and many of us can't Catch -Up, Time or Financially!

From all the products you recommend Andy produce, I was under the impression that you had bought all the sets and were recommending what else Andy could produce that you'd buy. Interesting.

That's crazy talk Rob!
Food, warmth, shelter? Nah not for me.
To (mis)quote Michael's wise Grandmother, the only thing you need is air and toy soldiers.
One's free, leaving funds for the second essential in life. :)

Will be good to see you at the show then Simon,i wonder what K&C UK will have up their sleeve for the evening?!

Rob

Have just seen the WW1 prices on K&C UK and to me they look reasonable.I think i am more likely to get more of them as they are single figures and not too expensive.Even something like two a month might be realistic without falling too far behind.

Hola:

I have to say that I really like the new WWI figures. How far do you think they'll expand the series? French? Americans? Russians? Do you think they'll do any diorama accessories like a big long trench with ladders? Or perhaps even get into the airlplanes like a British Sopwith? I would be real curious to know how far they plan to extend the series. Just a thought.

Have a great day

As its such early days yet i'm not sure we will get that info yet.But it does have the scope to be a big and very popular range.I'm wondering if it will be more or less popular than the new ACW range?.I think Andy is bound to do some U.S troops at some point, although we may get the Brits first.

Me old Grannie would be proud to know that her words of wisdom live on with my (now her) friends ;)

But then again, as my old sweet old grandmother once told me when I was but an itty-bitty babe, on the front porch whilst she was gently rocking me to sleep in her loving caring arms as the sun set gently in the western sky with a pinkish-blue glow, "Michael," she said, "hush my sweet darling and always remember you can pick your friends and you can pick your nose; but, you should never pick your friends nose, now go to sleep." :) :)

Michael,

I thank you for sharing your Grandma's pearls of wisdom.
They do knida put things in perspective. :)

Simon

You must have a great memory. Babies don't usually remember that much :D
