An ebay seller threw this item in as a gift. I had never seen one before. Anyone care to provide some ideas on displaying other than "World of Dickens"?

Alternate reality where Germany takes over London? Nice use of K&C civilians and LAH and combat troops. Or with the Britains Christmas scenes, or their Jane Austen. Any band needs a sidewalk with civilians and a typical British scenery.
Cheers, and nice gift,
Sandor

Looks to be a post box from the reign of Queen Victoria so any scene from 1819 - 1901 would work.

...Alternate reality where Germany takes over London?...

Ah, yes, a diorama based on Saki's (HH Munro's) short story, "When William Came", about an Imperial German conquest of Great Britain.

" 'Grossmutter-Denkmal, yes?' said the cab driver..."

Of course, the British royal monogram was replaced with the "W"-and-Charlemagne's-crown monogram of the new ruling house...

Prost!

Though i was think of a WWII scenario... that would be very cool too!

Check your academy's library for it, Sandor. I think you'd enjoy it. It's very much a Britsh short story of the late Edwardian period, but an interesting piece of counterfactual literature, which I enjoy. And the theme of a German invasion was very popular in British letters at the time, whether among more serious authors like Munro, or serial writers, or among the lesser-known playwrights who cranked out short pieces for the stage.

Prost!
