hey guys, I was looking for a WW1 Ypres Backdrops for me diorama but could not find it.
so I picked up the paintbrush and am just begun.
it is not ready yet, but it goes well, I think !!
have also painted the inside of the house so you can see depth.
hope you like it?

Morning Harrie,

From the look of what I see you must have "picked up" a paint brush before .... a super nice job.
Are you a painter?

I really like the idea of the painting the interior (depth) of the diorama buildings. That adds a greater level of detail than just seeing what's on a shelf behind you or just white.

Great idea and results!

Of course you could not find it, because there was nothing left of the city.
Nice paint job Harrie
guy:)

Thank Larry and Guy.
I paint all ready houses and figures but never paintings.
This is really the first time.
I have watched Bob Ross a lot!! Maybe I can make it my job sometime in the future 😜

Harrie it would appear you have inherited some of your heritage of the Dutch Master painters. Maybe we should add your name alongside those of Rembrandt; Vermeer; Brughel and Van Gogh ^&grin

Seriously that's a fine looking back-drop you've painted. Its certainly not at all easy to get the effects you have managed. I know that by having a go myself and failing miserably.

Hope to see you at the London December show

Build A Rama has made a burning city backdrop that is quite nice.

Looks great Harrie, I think you've discovered hidden talent. :smile2: Chris
