First let me say - ANDY - THANK YOU !

All Civil War collectors tip our hat to you and for these fine releases and look forward to the day when they are available.

You have made all of us very happy ! :D

I would also say a few of these new releases are UK Reb inspired.

With the wonderful Civil War stories we have seen (here on Treefrog) from our friend UK REB (Bob) and the time and care he took to create scenes with items which Toy Soldier makers did not have in their inventory - these K&C releases have captured some of those magical scenes.

Anyway - Thanks Andy and Thanks Bob for your creative stories - now lets get collecting !

Releases that are great !

I have to admit that even though I dont collect Civil War, these do look really awesome! Im sure Reb cant wait to add these to is beautiful scenes. :)

I guess someone forgot there are two sides to every war:rolleyes:

I like the Lee Stuart exchange, would work well for the berating he received for the Ride around the Union Army at Gettysburg.

I agree, and no retirements for this month from this line! Two thumbs up!!!

king country keep releasing new figures in a lot of ranges with some excellent poses for each period they belong too,for instants the new civil war sets cw48 helping a friend, cw49 battlefild surgeon and cw5o carried off are all first class figures that are a most for any collector collecting that range but for me a range that seems to be kept being over looked is the napoleonic range, the new dragoon figures are good figures but they are the same poses as what are already available.
the napoleonic range in my view is crying out for figures like the cw49 etc britains released a surgeons set last year that was a excellent add on ,so come on andy grab a corner of the market thats screaming out for these poses in this range.

I wholeheartedly agree with the Johno's observation ... I have plunged into the ACW range, principally because of the poses like CW 043 & 044 .. the mounting up poses. Similarly ... poses like CW048 and 049 would be appreciated in the NAP range too. I especially can't get enough of the unmounted horses.

Much as I have like the new NAP Dragoons ( and I already have all of them) ... I would have liked them even more ... if supplemented with such non-combat poses in the future.

Would members who are more familiar with K&C ... be able to tell if the individual pieces in CW 044, 048 and 049 are casted separately .. and hence may be displayed in a different & varied arrangement.

well od
glad to hear i'm not the only one wondering why there is a shortage of figures with realistic poses required for some ranges while others seem to have sets with excellent figures.
as a napoleonic collector maybe i feel a bit hard done by,collectors of other rangers may feel the same on the range the collect, only time will tell.
