In the top left and the one right below, I think those might be Trophy, by the bases. The experts may know for sure.

The Marine band players look like the eyes right figures from William Britains. Are they metal?

I agree with Brad, here are two I have

Cheers

The Royal Marine bandsmen are either Asset or Music in miniature

The mounted figures are Trophy, but the figures need to be switched. The Indian Army Lancer should go with the brown horse and the Mahdi figure on the white horse.

That is a very impressive collection! :)

Regards,

The Trophy figures have now appeared on ebay, but with the same mistakes noticed by Lawrence.

Well, I won the Indian figures in the first photo and won the Indian figure with the white horse whereas I wanted the dark horse that was with the Sudan figure, so I bid on both, figuring I could switch 'em. Of course I lost the Sudan figure auction. Grrr!

Have contacted the seller but if the buyer is a member here, please post or pm me so we can work this out and switch horses.

The Royal Marine Bandsmen are NOT Asset - I have the complete band and all bandsmen wear white cross-belt (with pouch at rear) - and the Tuba has half-leather cover. (Unless there was an earlier Asset issue than the one I have. - johnnybach

That elephant looks like a wargames figure. 25mm? possibly Hinchcliffe or Garrison?

Who made these very detailed casts that Obee has given life too................

To get a new set and add it to our collections is fantastic....to purchase them on a cast stage, do historical research as to the campaigns they took part, what Regiments were on site and then decide what they will look like when finished is even more challenging and exciting......more even so if you:

(1) Fortunate to tap into a situation where casts are still sold.....With all this China mass market stuff, getting nice casts or ask the casts to be set in certain fashion are as rare as a Dodo bird...
(2) If you have the painting skills.....Great! Better still if you have a friend who has the skill.....you keep the friendship flowing, discuss with him on the outcome of the project and see the final master piece!

Attached are samples of my last acquisitions that came in as un assembled castings and my good friend Obee applied his master skills and gave them life!!
