AUSTRIANS!! Please will someone finally do some Austrians. They seem to be completely ignored by so many TS makers while in historic reality it was Austria which was involved in more campaigns against the French Empire than any other nation.

Dragoon,

Yes would love to see some Austrians, a very left out Nation. :(

My pick was Brunswickers, with all 3 arns (Infantry, Cavalry & Artillery) at Waterloo great little Corp.

Check out the ATS website, they have many Austrians and the largest selection of Napoleonic figures on the market.

Same answer as Dragoon. Check out ATS at www.ats-uk.net for Austrians, Brunwickers, Russians, Prussians, Bavarians etc., etc. As previously stated THE largest selection of Napoleonics.

Trooper,

I think we are talking about figures that would be compatible with K&C, CS & TGM.

While the ATS figures are nice and yes a great ranges they are more of the Old Type Toy Soldiers, compared to K&C, CS & TGM.

Would like to see Polish Troops.
Mark

Mark,

Would be nice, as would a number of the smaller nations in the Nap Wars, like the German States, Spain, Italy States and so on.

But there is always a but, would they sell and I assume that is one of the big things for anyone putting there money were there mounth is and manufacturing a new line these days.

Andrew

I think if any troops sold not counting the French and British it would be the Poles.I meant to vote for the Austrians too.

Yes I'd have to agree that Austrians are the major country not represented.

The German states were small players, and they changed sides during the Napoleonic Era and along with that they changed uniforms styles too.

Yes ATS has the biggest range of Napoleonic Nations represents, I have a lot in my collection, but I paint them myself, because I like matt finish and Nik usually only makes gloss. they are 54mm and NOT compatible with K&C 60mm, which is what I'm expecting with TG.

Yes but with ugly uniforms and poor results.;):D

One thing for sure wherever TG lands in this area it will be well done and well priced and, popular with the majority of collectors!!!!

I agree; next to a K&C they look malnurished, but they are lovely figures and worth squeezing in anyway.

Tim,

yes all of the figures sold by Nik are availabale as castings.

have a look on his website http://www.ats-uk.net/

He doesn't list them on his website, but he sure sells them at the London Toy Soldier Show, and from his home in London, where I had a very enjoyable morning with him in 2008 as he showed me his operation and we discussed future ranges, such as the new Napoleon in Egypt

I have laods of "the Retreat to Corunna" series on my site here http://members.upnaway.com/~obees/soldiers/napoleonb.htm

I'd email him as enquire about what you want.
John

Now don't be mean - Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;)
There is nothing mean in a factual observation, they did lose nearly every battle against the French and their uniforms were quite plain for the time. No matter though, I do hope you get all the Austrians you wish for.;):D
