Danny and Peachy...
obviously you have seen it...
I have not watched it in years...
I'm anxious to see it tonight...

One of my favorites. Watched Connery in Robin and Marian right before this one. TCM missed the trifecta, should have broadcast The Wind and the Lion, as well.:wink2: -- Al

Mike , it is a great adventure film. The Connery movie I haven't seen in a long time is The Hill.
That has to be one of his all time best.

Great movie Michael, I have a copy on DVD:salute::

All the best

Martyn:)

The Man Who Would Be King and Wind And The Lion both excellent movies. The character actually kidnapped in the real life incident portrayed in Wind &Lion was a man. Much better with Candice Bergen I think. :wink2: Chris

Chris, I read that the director of The Wind and the Lion, John Milius, didn't enjoy working with either Connery or Bergen. He felt Connery was too dour and serious, but he was very pleased with the resulting performance Connery turned in. On the other hand, Milius felt that Bergen's acting skills were limited and that she was mainly concerned with looking good. None the less, I love the movie. -- Al
