Wow! - I'm so impressed with what's been poated already. Just arrived - and worked out which lead goes where ! (almost) - so here's my first offering towards this thread.

It's of the Royal Horse Guards, crossing the Nile with Camels.


Altogether now - "Load Camels - two three - Get aboard - two three .................etcetera", back later................. still unpacking.........jb

Sorry about the last pic - a bit small - can't be too choosy when you find them on the web - can alwas download and play with the size though.

Next one found is a double spread from The Graphic - and is a Camel race at Dongola. Note the open nature of participants - and fallers! Great Fun - wish I'd been there in my twenties!
