Hi all,

I'm proud to be a new toy soldiers collector and currently only interested in WW2 figures. Prior to that I collected ww2 fighter planes and modern jet fighters of 1:72 scale. Here are some pictures of my current toy soldiers and of coures they are all made by King & Country.

Great diorama you have there. Welcome to the forum and happy collecting! It's a great time to jump into the hobby as there are more choices than ever, especially of the WWII variety.

Hi cnq,

Welcome to the Treefrog Forum! It is always nice to receive new members and I appreciate your introduction. Doubtless, you will find many friends here who share your passion for our hobby. Please visit frequently and post offen. I look forward to more conversations with you.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

All nice, but eventually you will weaken and start collecting other lines like Ancient Egypt or Light Horse to break up the monotony of always being WW2. Variety is the spice of life they say. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Robin.

Very nice indeed.I am also a WWII collector ( Normandy and Battle of the Bulge) I would recommend you stick to one category and collect in debt. When purchasing a new vehicle or set of soldiers go for the history behind it. It is amazing the amount of knowledge you will gather about divisions, tanks, vehicles, battles etc...this knowledge you will be abe to use in your following dios. Give your dios a theme and make them historically right. A lot of fun, I can assure you.
carry on collecting
Guy:)

Welcome to the forum. Great set up you have there

That diorama is beautiful! Keep it going, and my advice-stick to one range, and although the next piece is sure to elicit so dispute, also stick to one company. Good luck,
Sandor

Welcome! That's a great dio. I'm relatively new to the hobby (almost 2 years) and I don't think I have anything that nice. Who manufactured the buildings?

Sticking to one range like WWII is probably the best idea for your wallet, although I tend to go by pieces more than range.

Then again, K&C's WWII isn't just one range, really - between d-day, battle of britain, market garden etc. there are ranges within ranges. I haven't gone wrong with K&C yet.

Hope to see more of your posts/dioramas soon.

Welcome to the hobby and forum. You have a fine start and a really nice dio. You have picked a winner in KC with a wide range of offerings for WW2 or whatever you decide on. It is a great time to collect. -- Al

welcome glad to have another WW2 collector on board  really like your background buildings where did you get them from?

Craig

Thank you all for the warmest welcome.
I'm hooked the first time I saw the K&C diorama setup at the local dealer :) .

I'm slowly starting to expand to Battle of the Bulge theme and planning to get the German Snow Tiger when it comes out ;)

In regarding to someone asked about the building in the background. It's made by company called "Build-a-rama". You can check out products on their web site "http://build-a-rama.com/".

thanks,
cnq

Welcome! I know you will enjoy this new pursuit. It has the potential to provide you with a lifetime of pleasure and interest.

Fantastic dio mate, :D nicely nice set up...especially like the wee SPG set, its one of my favourites. Although the Elehant is a great model in itself.;)

Really like how your selection of figures too....some of the best.:)

And yes a warm welcome to the fold too...... as you get further drawn into the hobbie, like most of us, you'll find it impossible to stick to one range...:p

Think the second shot with only the GI's in looks brilliant.
