Imperial Productions picture thread (1 Viewer)

Rob, thanks for posting. I have never seen any of those sets in person or until now ever looked at a great color photo of them. That is what is so fun about this and why I hope we do a comprehensive catalog at some point. I haven't collected in any of those lines (Civil War, Zulu, New Zealand), but seeing those sets, particularly the Iron Brigade and the Pontoon boat, makes me think I could make room for a few oddball sets in my collection. They look fantastic!

Also, per Cardigan600's suggestion and some emails from other folks, I created some folders with pictures of these and other Imperial sets under my user profile.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for having followed Bernard's advice and created some albums. Imperial is a maker I'm not that familiar with, but they just look great !
Cheers, Michel

I thought I'd post a few more shots. See below. Also, per Cardigan600's suggestion and some emails from other folks, I created some folders with pictures of these and other Imperial sets under my user profile. It is all public so feel free to check it out. Best,

DK

Hey guys!

I'm new around this forum, My name is Nathan, I'm from Australia, 22 and have been collecting imperial productions for the last 14 years (Why collect anything else...?).

As soon as I could start saving money, I saved for months to afford my first peice. No. 66 Officer of the Coldstream Gaurds - as you can see the collection has since grown!

I'm slowly acquiring the earliest sets... currently have 6,7 and 8 in my possession...

Recently acquired Heirloom series (Painted as Camerons):

That is my version of the events of 'the Drift'! Nevermind what Michael Caine and Stanley Baker might say!

Finally: My pride and joy! The entire French Imperial Guard (to date!) on parade....

I have also amassed a small collection of the troops of the 1853-6 Crimean Conflict, mainly the Coldstream Guards, Sutherland Highlanders, Cameron Highlanders and the 11th + Cardgian from the Charge of the Light Brigade! Will post pics in due time!

Have just ordered the Gordon Highlanders from 1815 for a Christmas present! Cannot wait until they arrive!!

Appologies for the poor pic quality - but my contribution to the thread all the same!

KEEP SHARING THE IMPERIAL LOVE!

Welcome to the forum Nathan.

Thank you for posting pictures of your fabulous collection. Whilst I don't collect Imperial I can certainly see what the attraction is to them.

Always interesting to see other peoples collections.

Thanks

Scott

Hi Nathan,
So, are you collecting Imperial since you were 8? Great job, congrats. Thanks for the great photos. Indeed, why collect anything else?
