Mike,

I need your help with my "Apocalypse Now" Col.Kurtz compound/dio I want to build. Remember the scene when Capt. Williard first enters the compound sitting atop of the PBR? Yeah, that is the dio I want to build.

anything you want John...

anytime...anywhere...

anything I can do to help would be my pleasure...

Mike,

I will send more pics soon brother, but you get the idea,

John your neighbor

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning"...

"Charlie can't surf"...

"You're an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill"...

ooooooh...I know the show well...even the redux version...

my advice...start buying palm trees now...

Mike,

I got the PBR, will have to customize some figures to make the characters Clean, Chef, Chief and Lance. The hardest figure I am going to have to find/make is Col. Kurtz in Vietcong Pajamas...fat. So, what size of Palm trees? Do you have any recommendations? I know I will need a lot so let me know.

"...we must find them, we must kill them..."

"They said your methods were unsound..."

"A ****ING TIGER MAN!"

"...DON'T LOOK AT THE CAMERA JUST KEEP MOVING"

"...hit with the sirens man...I'm an AMERICAN"

"...YO MAN GET THE ROACH...do you hear them?" "Yeah man"

Yes, I too know it very well. There are three movies I distinctly remember seeing when I was a little guy (like 2 years old). The first was "One flew over the Cuckoos Nest", second was "Star Wars" and third "Apocalypse Now" when I was like 7 years old. Those were the days when there were no babysitters, so when an ugly scene came up my parents covered my eyes. Yeah, so I have Apocalypse burned into my mind since then and cannot shake it...nor Cuckoos or Star Wars.

When the Redux came out I watched it three times. In fact, if Apocalypse is on TV and I see it I will zone out on until it is over.

You feel me Mike,

John you compadre.

I'm on a damaged building craze right now...^&grin

Mike,

I'm admiring the Spanish tiled roof building. Can you tell me what the roof is made of? (Is it a mould?)

Scott
