The dio is just fantistic great job. I like the river that magic water is really great. I always wanted to try it. Thanks for the pics.:):):)

thanks Gary...
the base is 28"x28"...
the river is 28"x9"...
and I used Magic Water (Treefrog sells it) to pour the river with a little moss green enamel paint stirred into it...

thanks Scott...Robin...Tom...Chris and Wayne...

it is a cool series...I never really got around to photographing it...

Mike:
Thanks for the information. So at a total of 37 by 28 inches you have a rather large display area. I will keep the "Magic Water" information in mind for any possible future use. Again, splendid diorama!
Best regards, Gary

They all look incredibly real Mike........great job! Good to see you playing with your new collection.

I'm glad that you did get around to photographing the series Michael and no doubt others will agree with me. Another classic round of photos from your end once again bringing your figures to life...............PapaZ:salute:::salute:::salute:::salute::

Great job Mike, The water and back drop along with all of the K&C figures came out......SUPERB {bravo}}

Dunno which one I like best, probably the water one although I like how the desert foreground and backdrop are almost seamless.

Tom

Great job on the dios Michael and nice photography as well. :salute::

Mike:

I am thinking of using the Magic Water for the harbor area of my large (85 by 29 inches) K&C Streets of Old Hong Kong display. I have been in contact with Shannon who gave a link to Magic Water and I have since exchanged E-mails with the owner Dave Williams in Michigan. He has already given me helpful hits.

Question: How deep is your river or harbor area on your new ancient Egyptian diorama?

I was hoping to just use between 1/8 & 1/2 inches of Magic Water for a revised harbor area for my SOHK display which is at about 65 by 29 inches. I would plan on removing the two K&C "Jetties" or dock sections & bridge I got back in 1996 to make certain there is no damage to them and put them back in place on top of the Magic Water after it is dry.

Thanks, Gary

Hi Mike,

What you do with all these egyptian figures is simply magic. I like what you show : scenes of antic life (hunt etc).

Faithfully

Gary...wow...your's is 85"x29"...that is huge!!!

and you want to pour 65"x29" of Magic Water...that is huge too!!!

I'm sure it will turn out nicely and I would love to see any pictures of youe progress...if you need any extra help...please feel free to call me...409-740-7008...I'm no pro...but I have done quite a few rivers...lakes and waterfalls...

Dave Williams is a great guy...he is eager to help and give advice...his product is a great product...no cracking, no peeling, no yellowing...it works great...dries very hard and will easily support your dio pieces...be sure and mention my name when you talk to him...he will post your finished product on his website gallery when you're finished...

The Chariot...

I think this is one of the most intricate and colorful pieces K&C has ever produced...
definitely one of my favorites...
if you were lucky enough to get one...don't sell it...

Funny I thought you did sell one of these Mike? They are the centre piece of the AE series at the moment, captured by your brilliant photography. No one does it better than you for displaying this series, hopefully this will entice more members to get on board.:salute::, Robin.

Very nice Mike! I always enjoy these pics and have to constantly restrain myself from venturing into AE after seeing your pics. Would be good to one day have Joseph the Dreamer and his Technicolor coat somewhere in there, building for Pharaoh.
