Thanks Ben:salute::

Yes TG have done a good job with these patrol figures and would like to see a few non combat poses as well as an MG and Mortar team as they have with WW2 Germans.

The buildings are 3D prints.

Excellent scene Steve capturing the early days of the conflict using the French, well done in capturing this scene in miniature. I'm still looking to unpack my TGM French Indochina series and create some scenes. Like you mentioned earlier in a reply some additional non combat poses would be nice although the counter argument would be it would be nice to populate the range with additional combat poses for both sides. I love my Viet Minh and hope Blake will increase the range in the fullness of time. Where is the M24?

Cheers,
Grey

Excellent and atmospheric, I can almost feel the heat, as well as the apprehension of thee guys going out on patrol

Mmmmm, Step away from the computer before you pour half a canteen of water over your head to cool down !
Water and Electricity don't mix ! :wink2::tongue:

Yes a few more patrol figures wouldn't go amiss, perhaps take a leaf out of K&C's poses book and have one suffering from the Jungle runs !

Good one Steve. :salute:: Chris

Thanks Chris :salute::

I need to do some more Indochine scenes for sure !

Another nice one Steve. Those buildings work great.

Thanks Rob :salute::

The main building I've used here is a 3D print of the VC village school in film Apocalypse now, as is the hut to the side, that I had fellow treefrogger Paul Bell do for me.
The main building would look good for Colonial Spanish and Portuguese type settings too I think, which if you think about it would be right as though Apocalypse Now is set in Vietnam, it was filmed in the Philippines, which had been part of Spain's Colonial Empire before their revolution and US involvement. Perhaps it would fit the bill for a lot of different ranges made by the various manufacturers.
Guess it would be quite useful for anyone wanting to have an appropriate building for The Rough Riders and Spanish troops etc in Cuba !
Would be nice for one of the Toy Soldier manufacturers to make this, but I guess it would be so expensive especially to ship in Polystone as JJD said about future diorama pieces with their Fur Trade pieces being the last, at least for the present.
Perhaps they should ship from Mainland China to benefit from the subsidies by the Universal Postal Union that China abuses by claiming to be a developing country, meaning that shipping is much cheaper for Chinese companies than would be the case for say North American or European postal services that results in higher postal costs for us in North America and Europe and why you can get something costing $2 shipped free from China to U.S. where as to ship the same item from one part of America to another would cost much much more. Bit of an unfair advantage that we are all paying for, but really if I were to say any more then that would have to be in the appropriate forum section !
