inspiration of ''Thunder of the Plains'' and the ''Fur trade'' (3 Viewers)

Here's a photo of how I've displayed my buffalo hide waving Crow warrior . . .

Today, it's a bit special since I'm taking a turn towards ''paper soldiers''
it's a collection (Italian apparently) which covers all eras and which displays very historical characters in their outfits and weapons...
It's impressive but the interest of this subject is that we find the exact copy of many JJD and K&C figurines!
Is this one of their sources of inspiration?
in any case, too many coincidences are no longer coincidences....
I suggest you visit Little Big Horn...

Judge then...

We find on this presentation for example an exact copy of the SSB04 figurine of JJD

if you want to see more, it's easily found on the net...
there are dozens of boards covering fur trade and little big horn

The buffalo hide waving is really interesting. Looks like a herding device to keep the buffalo moving on the hunt. Sometimes, initially, it seems a figure might be a bit exaggerated until you do a bit of uncovering…. Or until Francis dies some uncovering for us

I have had several trips to Italy and have seen these many times. Its a very cheap way to get involved in history and the hobby

today, time for acrobatics !
The Amerindian technique of hiding on the side of your horse so as not to present any target for the shooter...
After long and tedious research, I found only one representation of this technique.
I'm a little disappointed..also if others who are better informed know of representations of this subject, do not hesitate to share...

also I will finish with some fabulous figurines for the eyes, which I know you are fans of...

and we are still waiting for a warrior equipped with the legendary Tomahawk, from JJD because it has never been made yet...

There are many TS examples. K&C, Blackhawk etc.
Have fun looking.

yes, I know these references, I wanted to find beautiful paintings on this subject but it turns out that they are few in number and difficult to find...
