Interesting little video..... (1 Viewer)

Martyn, you and Archie must be "chuffed to bits" to be the proud owners of that toy soldier masterpiece. Kudos to you both and a "very well done" to Patrick of BTSC.

Many thanks guys :salute::

Patrick and I had countless telephone and video calls over the last 4-6 months because of "Lockdown" there was no chance to meet up face to face and discuss ideas. When Patrick and I originally discussed the project I gave Patrick measurements to play with and I think he excelled himself in the finished USS San Pueblo. As stated in the video the boat is based on the beautiful original that Gordon Neilson made. I wanted a model that represented the boats that sailed the Yangtze River back in the 1920's and 1930's and I think Patrick cracked it for me. My thanks go to both Patrick and his lovely wife Chris who both worked so hard to make the dream come true, I can't recommend the boats from the BTSC Boatyard strongly enough, they are all quite unique, one off models

Here are a few pictures of the boat as she is now.............

I can see why. Beautiful model and it looks fantastic pictured in the cabinet. Capstone in one's collection.

Martyn,

As the others have said--yes this is a wonderful piece and something I'm sure you'll treasure for a long time!

I too, never get tired of viewing the photos you've posted here. You have displayed it extremely well in that cabinet.
