I guess right now the US market must be the biggest for K&C. But I suppose the European one has a lot of potential, which K&C seem to acknowledge. The European Union is not a single country, but it does have a single currency ( apart from the UK ), lots of population, buying power, no customs taxes between us, and a lot of interest for the hobby. On the down side, there aren't as many internet dealers as in the US ( I know of dealers in Italy, Holland, France, Spain, a few in the UK, but only one or two provide service comparable to Treefrog Treasures ). And the Internet itself is more developped in the US than in Europe I guess. It's simple things like this: here in Portugal I must pay for the Internet, which someone told me is free in the US. Is this true? And I believe the Internet is an explosive multiplier for the hobby, to say the least.
Now, I'm curious. How many non-US members do we have in this forum? I think we have people from Ireland, people from Canada, people who came from the land down under.... of course there is the language factor: if you´re French or Portuguese, like me, it gets a little harder, but well, today on the net you got to speak at least a little English ( pardonnez moi les Français... ), even if poorly like me...
Best regards,
Paulo
