I realise that Brad :rolleyes: But the same applies to both countries in that you can't consider the invasion and or possession of an island or remote colony to be the same as an invasion of their respective mainland.

I don't think they were born in the UK. I think they were from Iraq weren't they?

Maybe so Rob, maybe so. And I apologise if I've offended, but I've seen Al Jazeera TV gloating as they show - time and time again - American and Brit victims of their so-called "holy war". I've also inadvertantly seen live footage of hostages being....Oh well.
That guy tried his best to kill and mutilate innocent people. Deserved all he got as far as I'm concerned.
And trust me on this, most Arab people that I know don't agree with the aims of the terrorists anyway and are just as disgusted as we in the West are.

If I recall well, there was a terrorist attack by young islamist born in UK. Maybe the bombs in 2005.

I can honestly say that the opinion of the vast majority here is the same as ours. I'm friends with several arabs that were more shocked than I was when 7/7 occured and now this latest attack on inoccent people. I'm no tree-hugger, but I can say that most of the sand-guys whom I know are actually very nice people.
It seems to me that it's the less-well off in Pakistan/India who are the main perps. Guess time will tell, when the authorities in UK finish their investigations.

At least nowone mentioned the Falklands would not want to upset anyone from HB or we may never see those British Shermans.
 
No i think the Falklands is still a little raw on both sides and i don't think we should go there.Lets stick to Nasty Napoleon and Wonderful Wellington:D(depending on your point of view of course Ron!:D)

Okay, obviously time for me to lighten up. This is a toy soldier forum after all - not a political platform.
What's all this about Welsh women? Please let me in on this one.
Can hardly wait for those Crimean sets to turn up - even though they'll cost a fortune in customs duty.
