These Mark Felton videos you keep posting are always good for a laugh, but usually based on myths and fake history, and only as 'reliable' as the history channel.

For example, according to AI:

Matt, to me Mark Felton's little videos do just touch on a small pieces of any historical subject that he does a presentation on, usually the little nuggets that capture the attention of many viewers, even if that isn't a time period where their own interests lay.
I do find them entertaining and he has over two million subscribers, so he must be doing something right.

Yes he certainly does a lot of WW2 related presentations with many being on German topics, funnily enough it's the same with our hobby, with German WW2 figures and vehicles being the best sellers for manufacturers who cover the period, so there must be an attraction, in us too, to WW2 and Germany in particular, whether it being people interested in watching and listening to a Mark Felton video or collecting and displaying a scale model of a German Panzer !
Personally, I'm not a fan of AI generated videos that seem to be swamping youtube now, having watched a few and finding simple mistakes in them, that anyone with a little knowledge of the subject would notice, but anyone new to it, might take as true, so to me AI is not to be trusted in that roll.
Those being produced after research, even may it be limited to what the video is about, such as those done by Mark Felton or the shorter and more movie associated ones of Johnny Johnson, are more entertaining and better in other ways than AI ones.
If you want high level, I won't say unimpeachable history, as that can suffer just as much from what's been omitted, as to what's actually said, but encompassing all sides of the narrative, AI generated ones are to be avoided.

And yeah, I'm not impressed with Felton. Who mentioned The History Channel? Yeah, that's the same league, pretty much.

Felton's videos are poorly produced and full of errors, the videos are mainly intended for Brits as they recycle a lot of British WW2 propanganda BS. The 'information' he relates is often so inaccurate it's embarrasing to watch, of course Brit audiences would lap it up, Tally Ho old chap etc. On the rare occasions when I watch his videos, I soon want to reach into the TV and slap Felton's supercilious face 🧐 😀

The World certainly has a lot going on at the moment, and with so much information coming in, it can feel like you're in a spinning room !
It gets frustrating, sorting what you're being told from various sources, as to what actually is happening, each outlet no doubt with their own agendas as to where the truth lies and each of us has our own versions of that.
Sometimes I think those who never bother listening to what is going on in the world and how it will at some stage effect them and their families and stay in their bubble have the right idea.
As to whether you or I, watch videos by one person or another is personal choice, somethings will irritate and others be interesting, just the same as likes or dislikes in everything else.
Can be useful just to take a step back, get breath of fresh air and realise that, you'll never change the world!
 
I just hate to see people spread false information, says more about them than me when they keep doing it.
