Is K&C still going to make a M-7 Priest since Figarti.... (1 Viewer)

The Lee was my first K/C vehicle. I had never heard of the company before. Even if a remake was made, I think I would be hard pressed to sell my original. Truly a personal favorite..Michael
 
I prefer to have common vehicles made that would be seen on any major battlefield, Panzer III & IV's etc, instead of obscure vehicles with limited production runs. Regarding remakes: It would be great for new collectors, but there are so many other vehicles that still have not been made. I did, however, buy the Chaffee, Panther and numerous Tiger remakes & am seriously eyeing the new Panzer III. Like I mentioned on an earlier thread, I love armoured cars and hope more different ones would be made.
 
I'm not sure I'd call Lees and Grants obscure; they were workhorses of the Desert war until Shermans came along. Just speaking for myself, I would to see some Valentines and some of those old Rolls Royce armored cars that I believe 11th Hussars employed in the early stages of the Desert war when Wavell was running the show.

Some of those early AFVs would go with the early Italian tanks and armoured cars now that they are into making those Italian vehicles. I like the early war period and would be pleased to see more early pieces.

It's well known in the hobby industry that later WWII prototypes outsell the earlier armored vehicle designs many fold.

Why revisit ugly obsolete models like Valentines etc when something like the ever popular Pershing still hasn't been done in 1/30 scale :confused:

I find it refresing that Andy keeps going forward and tries to sell new vehicles instead of the same old same old. I like the fact I have not seen a Tiger in awhile.

So we've had a Desert Tiger,Wittmans last Tiger(before he was knocked out by Joe Ekin-morning Terry!:D:p;))and a Winter version (superb model and still one of my all time faves).So unless Andy might be thinking of redoing a Winter version, could we be getting a early War Grey version?.That would be nice indeed,but my number one Tiger choice would be a Whitewashed King Tiger.

As for other lesser known releases i like Brads armoured car release idea and also Terry's FOB Matilda.I think Andy nailed it in his post about continuing with the classics whilst also producing the new and unmade AFV's.We all benefit from this policy!:).

Brad mentioned a Valentine,well we've had a Crusader,Matilda,Sherman and Cromwell from Britain,so a Valentine would be awelcome release.

Good morning Rob :p:D A good balance of popular moneymakers, brand new pieces, remakes and a few less well known and early war pieces is what keeps the hobby fresh and alive.

:cool: You still Need to get a PRIEST M-7 and M-3 GRANT, for the 8th Army, and Figarti's M-3 GRANT, is OK, but Smaller and doesn't have the Desert Look , with Hanging Gear, on the SideSkirts and it should have a Fierce Commander and a Man in Top Side Hatch! Also, possible a Crew Eating and Cooking, while taking a Break, in the Desert! Also, Andy could give us a M-3 "HONEY"( Light) Tank, and a AEC MKI/II DAIMLER Armoured Car! CIAO!
