The wounded are all killed

Very few escape, Private Wassall 80th Regiment of Foot is one of the few, he wins the Victoria Cross for saving Private Westwood also of the 80th Regiment of Foot

Nearly all are lost and the guns aren't saved

Martyn...that is a great set up...maybe your best ever...utter chaos for the Brits...I have always been a sucker for the epic sized dioramas...they are a lot of work and hard to pull off...but you did it well...your mat looks spectacular with the bases of your figures...who made the mat please...

also the limber set looks spectacular in this scene!

After having seen this magnificent dio, the Shangani Patrol and, of course, all of his Trophy, I've come to the inescapable conclusion that this person who calls himself Martyn is really a resident of Buckingham Palace or maybe Clarence House {eek3} :wink2:^&grin

Great dio, Martyn. Recreates the chaos of the defensive collapse very well. The spears will be washed! -- Al
