Italian Forces Series ?? (1 Viewer)

daruss....

I was quite surprised when K&C went down the road of making a range for Italians as I did not think they would be all that popular but, I have not heard that they will disco them but, cannot see it being one of the best sellers.

On the other hand I suppose for those who collect to sell they will then become quite rare.

Its not for me too second guess K&C with their success but, think they could have done some more interesting area as for me as a collector who's side do you put them on and will they stay loyal long enough for me to set them up in one position!!!!!!!!!!

This was a series I was actually enthusiastic about and was waiting for K&C to release some Italians in action poses before I dove in and started buying them. It's been so long since the initial release it's hard to say if any more are going to come out. Any hints Andy?

:) Hello Guy's! I'm sure or I will let Andy know, that we will see K&C make COMBATANT Italians SOON! You can't leave these N.Africa ITALIANS, out or WW2; it wouldn't be Appropriate to Delete them, from the N.Africa WW2 Series/Campaign! I'm very dedicated to the AXIS and ALLIES, who fought in this War! Also, their is going to be a M-13/40 Tank, and a AS42-SAHARIANA, Recce Desert Patrol Car! Keep Requesting to ANDY, for these GREAT WW2 Vehicles and Figure's! CIAO!

Its a real shame it doesn't catch on,, because so many different things can be done for an "ITALIAN FRONT"

If I remember right they came out in September last year. Andy did say last year that they would be followed by fighting Italians in 2010. Be patient.

Hi Guys,

“Is the Italian Series done for??” Well, if it is, nobody told me!!! At present, we are working on more figures (action ones this time) for release later this year (or early next).

Italy is one of K&C’s biggest and best European markets and we’ve got lots of great ideas for fighting vehicles (and possibly aircraft) to complement our Italian Forces in WW2. So, there you have it… our first release was “Going off to War”… the second will be “In Action”.

Best wishes and Ciao baby!
Andy C.

Thanks for the news Andy!!!by the way i'd really appreciate if K&C could do some "Risorgimento" figure..this year it's the 150th anniversary of the Italian Indipendence and a Garibaldi K&C style..i'm dreaming i know..:)
Ciao from Italy..

And let's not forget that the Italians were pretty adept at unconventional warfare, particularly with their combat swimmers and divers from the MAS who used midget submarines very effectively. Maybe a 'Chariot' with crew which could compliment the Kriegsmarine Seehund?

Thanks Andy! Also, it's good too hear there is a market in Italy for K&C figures..

Much thanks on the response Andy. I'm looking forward to those fighting Italians I'm sure they are going to be great!

Hi Andy

Please dont forget the European theatre. I may even buy some marching Italians if they are for the European theatre :):)

hmm... fighting vehicles, I do dream of a Bersaglieri on motorbike in North Africa, just like the opening of the Italian movie "Tobruk in the line of fire"
