I've never done anything diorama wise, just always had the figures in a cabinet. Here is a start. This is only one section since I had to Mickey Mouse a background since I had nothing big enough to cover the whole thing. And before anyone points it out, I know I have different regiments all together. I don't have enough figures yet to make it historically correct.

I wouldn't worry about mixing up regiments Zblang, I don't think anyone really minds, plus it's great to see some AWI stuff being posted. The background looks fine to me mate, the main thing is you're having fun doing it.

Where did you get the matte and background from? They look good together.

The Matte is B-A-R that I got from Hobby Bunker and the back is a photo printed at home from the internet. I like the photo, but it only covers 1/2 of my dio (on 8 1/2 x 11 paper). Looks better in photos that real life. In real life it looks like exactly what it is! (just temporary)

Good start. Don't worry about accuracy and regiments I am sure the figure base police will be at you for showing the bases!!!LOL

The bases showing even started getting to me. I had to cut the mat to fit the space I had so am planning to take the extra piece and using some of the "grass" to cover them up
